In the week of 27 March 2014 over a hundred people from private and public organizations visited the education and academic site of climate adaptation at Hanze university of applied science in Groningen. Applied sciences was presented in different workshops where participants could experience a toolbox for climate adaptation: urban flood prevention and heatstress mitigation.

In that week multiple experiences where prepared for this event by young professionals and students in a climate cafe setting, such as flooding of a street with permeable pavement in Hoogkerk with the municipality of Groningen.
