As announced in our weekly ClimateCafe GreenBlue (https://climatecafe.nl/groenblauwcafe), testing of Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems as green infrastructure as bio swales are tested in Zeeland. The research during Climatecafe Zeeland focussed on the long term efficiency of green climate adaptation measures that are previously mapped on climatescan.org.

The research covered testing of the hydraulic capacity of green infrastructure, pollution levels in the topsoil of bio swales, assessment of bio diversity and soil characteristics and interviews with several stakeholders. This ClimateCafe spearheaded by Applied University of Zeeland had a high participation of stakeholders and several (applied) universities.
